1. Introduction
Welcome to MyCookPlan! These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the MyCookPlan mobile application (the "App"), which is developed and maintained by an independent developer. By accessing or using the App, you confirm that you meet the minimum age requirements applicable in your country or region and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.
2. Description of the App
MyCookPlan is a personal meal planner, recipe organizer, and shopping list app designed for individual use. It helps users plan meals, save and categorize their favorite recipes, and manage grocery lists in a convenient and aesthetically pleasing format.
3. Access and Usage Rights
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App, nor may you reverse-engineer or attempt to extract the source code, except as permitted by applicable law.
4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases
The App currently offers a single annual subscription that unlocks premium features. This subscription is managed entirely through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, depending on your device. It may automatically renew according to the policies of the respective store.
You can manage or cancel your subscription via your account settings in the store where you made the purchase. The developer does not process payments directly and cannot offer refunds. For billing or subscription-related issues, please refer to the policies of Google Play or the App Store.
When your subscription ends or is canceled, access to premium features will be removed or disabled, and usage limits will return to those available in the free version.
5. Advertising and Third-Party Services
The App may display advertisements, which are provided by third-party networks and may be shown based on your device information or general app usage patterns.
The App may also use third-party services to support its functionality (such as analytics, billing, or cloud-related features). These services operate under their own terms and privacy policies. The developer is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or behavior of any third-party services or advertisements displayed within the App.
6. User Content and Usage Restrictions
All recipes, notes, meal plans, and shopping lists you create within the App are stored locally on your device. The App does not require account registration and does not upload your personal content to external servers or share it with the developer. You are solely responsible for backing up your data, if needed.
In future versions, optional synchronization with third-party cloud services (such as your personal storage accounts) may become available. If introduced, such features will require your explicit consent and will not be enabled by default.
Please note that cross-platform synchronization between Android and iOS devices is not currently supported, and some features or data may not be portable between platforms.
You agree to use the App only for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You must not misuse the App or attempt to interfere with its operation.
7. Data and Privacy
Your use of the App is subject to the Privacy Policy, which describes how data may be collected and used. By using the App, you agree to the terms of the Privacy Policy.
The App may use third-party services that have their own privacy practices. The developer is not responsible for the content or policies of these external services.
8. Changes to the App and Terms
The App may be updated from time to time to improve functionality, add or remove features, or address technical or security issues. These changes may occur without prior notice.
The developer reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be made available through the App or its official website. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the App after changes have been made constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
9. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
While the App is designed to store your data locally and function reliably, the developer cannot guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. In rare cases, data loss or other issues may occur due to device limitations, user actions, or technical failures.
You understand and agree that the developer shall not be held liable for any loss of data, damages, or inconvenience arising from the use of the App. You are responsible for making your own backups if necessary.
