Spelen utspelar sig i Japan och London mot 1800-talets slut och innehåller fem mordmysterier vardera, fulla med dramatik, skratt och oväntade vändningar, precis som man kan vänta sig från Ace Attorney-serien. Följ med Ryunosuke Naruhodo, en förfader till seriens frontfigur Phoenix Wright, och hjälp honom avslöja en internationell konspiration, knäcka ett förbluffande olöst brott och vinna många knepiga rättegångar längs vägen. Flera timmars klurande väntar!

Under fallen får du prata med inblandade personer, undersöka bevis och brottsplatser, och försöka lista ut varför brotten begicks innan du ger dig av till rättssalen. Där får du förhöra vittnen och lägga fram bevis, och det hade så klart inte varit ett Ace Attorney-spel om du inte fick vråla ”OBJECTION!” när du kan bevisa att åklagaren har fel och att din klient är oskyldig.
